Superdad

V has been sick the last few days.

I was doing a lot of catch up for my new day tomorrow, and I asked him to do M night routine.

They watched TB. He gave him a bath. He read to him.

When he was trying to get him dressed, V said “how do you get him to lay down” (I felt so seen)

I said “read to him”. He said “I’ve tried.” I said no matter what’s he’s doing just keep reading.

Listening to him read in different voices.. and we’ll just reading was so amazing.

We had a great day. Went to Golden Corral for lunch; our usual waitress was there. She’s amazing. “I haven’t seen you guys in forever”. V&M went there a lot while I was deployed. She knows our family and knows our drinks and she’s just amazing.

Then we went to Cabela’s and Costco. We had fun!
