new year goals

This year just feels so different. I don’t know what it is. Is this what a little experience being 30 does for someone?

Okay – 2025 goals. No one is perfect, but this is what i want to do or start to do/try to do, whatever you want to say. I know I won’t do everything, but even starting it within the next 12 months is the goal.

  1. READ MORE BOOKS. My goodreads goal is 20.
  2. Spend less time on my phone and doom scrolling
  3. No buy/Low buy trend (post to follow).
  4. Look into/start my masters
  5. Declutter/Minimize
  6. No more excuses.

Daily goals. yes, jess, every day, girl.

  1. Walk. I literally own a treadmill, there’s no excuse. But at a minimum walk around my block one time OUTSIDE.
  2. 10 push ups and 10 sit ups MINIMUM every day. It takes literally 20 seconds to complete.
  3. Less monster. No vaping. More water/tea/coffee from home.
  4. Personal Hygiene. Depression is so crazy that I have to add this…
  5. Reaaaddddddd
  6. SLEEP
  7. Tidy up (at least vacuum and have an empty sink)
  8. + my chore of the day

Weekly:

  1. BLOG
  2. junk journal
  3. take donations to the Airman’s Attic
  4. Little Library replinish/shopping
  5. digital organization (unsubscribe from emails, photos organization on pc)
  6. Car wash/vac
  7. MEAL PREP for work lunch

Monthly:

  1. Mom & Dad only date
  2. Hang out with Kyla
  3. Go to the zoo
  4. Go through closets/toys to donate/rotate
  5. Filters/Salt

Sounds like it should be so easy. But my normal is no one elses and I can’t compare myself.

Here’s hoping I can also do Project Pan and use everything I already have without buying anything new, and then replacing those items with what I have found that is non-toxic. I swear, if TikTok goes away, i’m going to lose so much information. (Obviously I can find it somewhere else)

I’m going to start putting myself first without fear of judgment.
